Smack Mellon’s Art Ready program connects NYC public high school students in 10th through 12th grades with professional artists and creatives currently practicing in their respective fields.
The Bklyn Combine has partnered with Smack Mellon for the past decade working with their student artists and curating group projects in art, photography, fashion, anime, and journalism.
In 2018, the students created a fashion collection called “Noir Deus” and brought all of their skills to the table to bring to life a unique cut and sew fashion brand, look book, and fashion show.
