Combine Day 24 was extra special this year. Year 5 was one of our best years yet. Combine Day started with all around vibes as our vendors and community partners showed up and showed out!
Our usual musical engineers, FON Soundsystem, began setting the mood for the day with high-energy soul music. We have the perfect balance of community, joy, ujamaa, education, and culture.
HYCIDE's curation was incredible with Fine Ass Front providing custom grillz for the masses along with art and a live performance by Newark's own, Euphony. Euphony was accompanied by Smutty Warhol, Mount Vernon's rap sensation.
Thanks to Kenji Summers for leading us in a spiritually-centering meditation to help get everyone in the proper space to receive the day's electric energy. And the talented young violinists from Noel Pointer Foundation for their incredible live performance.
