On June 1st, 2024, The Brooklyn Combine partnered with District 35 Councilmember Crystal Hudson's office and several community partners to support the migrant community, the newest members of the Clinton Hill neighborhood.
This collaboration aimed to provide essential resources, including access to legal aid, healthcare services, food was provided by One Love Community Fridge, and we provided clothing distribution with St. Mary’s Clothing Drive, and grooming services were provided by Platinum Cuts Barbershop located at 508 Nostrand Ave, Brooklyn.
In addition, the event featured workshops to help migrants navigate local systems, get access to English language classes, and legal assistance, fostering a sense of belonging and solidarity within the Clinton Hill community.
This initiative reflected The Brooklyn Combine’s commitment to empowering underserved populations through education, resources, and community support.
