We Live In Brooklyn is a photography book by Phillip @Moithuk Shung that shares a narrative taking shape in the borough. One of resistance, resilience and a sense of pride that involves an ever-changing landscape and demographic. Phillip Shung felt it necessary to tell a visual story of the Brooklyn he sees in his daily routine, as well as through cultural gatherings and festivals that bring out some of the most unique, stylish and beautiful people. Events like DanceAfrica, Curlfest, and Afropunk, to name a few.
